Todd Hays

Todd Hays is active in the Pasadena and Palm Springs areas. A consistent TOP 10 producer, Todd’s comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing Buyers and Sellers in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace was honed during his many years in home renovation and restoration. Named Agent of the Year in 2016 by the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors, he also served as the Association’s 2015 President and is currently a Director for the California Association of Realtors and a Past Co-Chair of its Communications Advisory Committee. He served six years on the City of Palm Springs Historic Site Preservation Board, years on the Board of Pasadena Heritage and currently sits on the Board of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation.

In 2024, Hays was given the Residential Restoration Award by the Palm Springs Modern Committee, and in 2025 he was given the Preservation Matters Award by the City of Palm Springs’ Historic Site Preservation Board.  

An expert in historic properties and preservation, he has restored and represented Buyers and Sellers on important properties by Albert Frey, Henry Gogerty, Hugh Kaptur, Richard Neutra, Palmer & Krisel, Paul Trousdale, Marston, Van Pelt & Maybury, Herbert Burns and others.

His Real Estate prowess has been covered by numerous leading publications, including Money Magazine, Kiplinger’s, the Pasadena Star-News, the Los Angeles Times, Palm Springs Life, Atomic Ranch and Better Homes and Gardens. Todd’s work in Real Estate has been featured on Lowes.com, ABC, CNNMoney.com and CNBC.

Todd grew up in Pasadena and Palm Springs. He truly understands the many qualities and cultures that make these areas special and unique for Buyers and Sellers alike. Educated at Pasadena City College and Art Center College of Design, Hays holds a degree in communications from USC. When not enjoying the San Gabriel Valley, he spends time at his Historic Register-designated home in Palm Springs.

His years of experience in sales and marketing, public relations, social media and Real Estate, coupled with his diverse interests and training in art, design, photography and crisis management provide him a wealth of knowledge and insight when working with Buyers and Sellers.
