Katie Orr

Katie has been a Sonoma County resident since 2001 and joined Coldwell Banker Realty in June 2025.  After obtaining her real estate broker license in 2004, Katie Orr launched into representing real estate and mortgage lending clients until 2009 when she decided to leave the industry and focus on her family and two young children. Katie's was a  middle/elementary grades classroom teacher prior to 2004. In 2011, she pursued a second teaching credential as an Education Specialist to work with those with mild-moderate disabilities. Like clock work, Katie kept up her broker license renewals every four years. With the birth of their third son in 2015, Katie hung up her classroom teacher hat until she started homeschooling her teens in 2019.  In 2021, Katie and her husband invested in a second home they turned into a vacation rental in southern Utah.  Since that time, Katie has self-managed their property and worked with guests providing excellent customer service and hospitality while overseeing her children's education.

Her background as a classroom teacher and education specialist has given her the ability to explain complex processes clearly and guide clients step-by-step through transactions. Having been both a real estate broker and mortgage professional, Katie understands financing from the inside out – knowledge that saves her clients time and money.  

As a wife and mom to three sons in Sonoma County – two in college and one she homeschools in the elementary grades, she has been a part of school districts in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park/Cotati and Sonoma as a parent or teacher. 

Katie shared that it was her dad who asked her to start her real estate broker journey in 2001, as he was in the industry as an owner of a property management company in the Bay Area at the time.  Katie is thankful her dad put her on the path to understanding her own real estate journey, and twice now having the opportunity to practice and serve clients in this industry for the flexibility it provides her family.  One other little interesting fact, Katie's dad was a Coldwell Banker agent in the early 1980's in the East Bay of San Francisco where Katie grew up.  

Katie is excited to return to the real estate industry and help all those she meets! She is passionate about guiding her clients through the journey of real estate with the goal of making it an enjoyable, knowledgeable, and well-communicated experience!
