Education and Training

Christina Fusano Hinds graduated from the University of California, Berkeley as a Sociology major. She has completed all of her Coldwell Banker Training and continues to expand her knowledge of the Real Estate Market daily!

Areas of Expertise

Christina has worked from the Foothills to West Sacramento and all places in between. She lives in East Sacramento and has extensive knowledge about the market there. She is ready, willing and able to answer questions about the entire Sacramento Region.

Community Involvement

Christina is also a member of Athletes For Hope, which is a non-profit organization who's efforts focus on educating, inspiring, and empowering all to make a difference in the world. Personal Background

Christina Fusano Hinds was raised in the Placerville area and attended Ponderosa High School. She attended the University of California, Berkeley where she majored in Sociology. Christina earned a tennis scholarship and played 4 years for the Golden Bears. After she excelled at the college level, which included winning a NCAA Doubles Title, she played 8 years professionally. She was lucky enough to travel the world and compete at the highest level of tennis. The 2011 US Open was her last tournament before retiring from tennis and making Sacramento her home.

Baja Fish Tacos Recipe

Baja Fried-Fish Tacos

Makes 6 to 8- Approximately 45 Minutes

Ingredients for the Fish 1 cup dark beer, 1 cup flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1.5 boned, skinned white-fleshed fish, such as Pacific cod or tilapia, Vegetable oil, Lime wedges, 12 to 16 warmed corn tortillas, Cabbage and Cilantro Slaw (recipe below), Chipotle Tartar Sauce (recipe follows)

Frying Directions

1. In a bowl, whisk beer, flour, and salt until well blended

2. Rinse fish and pat dry; cut crosswise into 1-in.-wide strips

3. Pour about 1 in. of oil into a 10- to 12-in. dutch oven medium-high heat; bring oil to 360 degrees. With a fork, dip each piece of fish into beer batter; lift out and let drain briefly. Slide fish into oil, few pieces at a time and cook until golden, keep heat at 360, turning if necessary to brown all sides, 2 to 4 min/batch. With slotted spoon, transfer to paper towel, keep warm in oven.

4. To assemble tacos, top with a couple pieces of fish, then a spoonful of cabbage and cilantro slaw. Serve with the chipotle tartar sauce to add taste, squeeze lime over the top.

Cabbage and Cilantro Slaw

Makes 4 1/4 cups. In a large bowl, mix 6 cups of finely shredded cabbage, 1/3 cup of chopped cilantro, 3 tbsp. lime juice, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, and 1/4 red chile flakes with salt to taste

Chipotle Tartar Sauce

Makes 1 1/3 cups. In a blender or food processor, whirl 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp. canned chipotle chiles, 1 cup mayo (I used Greek yogurt) and 1/4 cup each sweet pickle relish and chopped white onion until smooth.
