Personal Background
Melanie Smith & Dieter Hartmann have been living in San Carlos since 1989. Melanie is a San Francisco Bay Area native and has lived in San Mateo County for the over 30 years. Dieter emigrated from Germany in 1963 and has been living in San Mateo County for the past 28 years. Prior to their careers in real estate, Dieter & Melanie owned and operated the Miramar Beach Inn in Half Moon Bay. As well as being a great team in real estate, Melanie & Dieter enjoy competing as a doubles team in the San Carlos Tennis Club and USTA leagues.
