Business Philosophy

Service is the key to this business. It's really quite simple: answer the phone, call people back, do what you say your'e going to. Sigh...sadly all that is a bit of a lost art these days. I study the market constantly - not only for my clients, but for my own investments as well. People may love a home, but it's important to know where the market is trending and if that home will resell well. The biggest component of my business philosophy is to love your job: I love seeing homes; I love helping people move on with their lives; I love predicting the future via market study (just in real estate - I'm completely useless in predicting any other portion of the future); and I love managing the transaction and the many people involved. I'm thankful for this -a top producer absolutely has to love all of it to be successful. But all of this, really, all of it, is worthless without service. Service is dead these days? Not here. Not with me - I'm on it!

Personal Background

David was raised in the Bay Area and ran a college theatre department for 20 years before leaving California to go to New York to work on Broadway in the design field. After years of working with the best of the best, David decided to expand his career in real estate so that he might sleep in his own bed rather than a hotel bed for months on end. Soon after, he and his husband Philip elected to return to the Bay Area to be with family. He and his husband enjoy camping, theatre, cooking and their only children:  Augie & Theo - 2 incredibly cute Havanese.
