Fluent in both English and Tagalog, Vicky grew up in San Jose and is well versed in the area’s neighborhoods, schools and amenities. Vicky holds a BFA in Visual Arts from UC Berkeley. Following her sincere desire to serve, she was a missionary in the Philippines for two years after she graduated. Dean holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly S.L.O. and San Jose State, respectively. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and licensed engineer (PE).

Vicky and Dean are active members of their church’s many community outreach programs, and they also support the International Justice Ministry and the City Team Ministry. In her down time, Vicky enjoys hiking, painting, writing poetry and playing the piano and ukulele. Dean plays piano, swims, hikes, rides his bike and bakes tasty pies that command top dollar at silent auctions.
