More about Kathy Wiley

Professional Experience

I have sold residential real estate since 1977. I have sold property all over the Bay Area including Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Pleasanton, Livermore, Fremont and Union City. I have also ventured up the peninsula and sold in Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City and San Carlos. Technology has made selling real estate more a matter of finding what will work for the client and when it will work.

I have sold investment properties and multiple units specializing in tax deferred exchanges for many of my clients. Often, real estate is the best long term investment for an investment portfolio. I have had a property management company for over 30 years specializing in single family homes and small apartment buildings.

Personal Background
I am a transplanted Californian and have lived in the Bay area for almost 45 years. I love living here and enjoy the weather, the diversity and the incredible flow and exchange of ideas. I am a member of San Jose Rotary and through Rotary I have became involved in working with Rotaplast. Rotaplast is an organization devoted to repairing cleft lip and cleft palates in children and adults in developing countries. I have worked on funding  and leading 7 missions in Central America, Brazil and Venezuela.  Through my Rotary Club, I have developed programs and events to aid teachers and students at Washington Elementary School, a Title 1 school in San Jose, since 2016.  Coldwell Banker raised funds to furnish the physical education department with equipment.  Currently, I have a son that lives in the Willow Glen area and he keeps me technically savvy since that is his field of expertise. I love to travel to experience other cultures.
