Sterling grew up in Northern California and coming from a "little" big city like Sacramento meant that in order to succeed you had to build a name for yourself; he decided to build his on the foundations of community, empathy, integrity, and relationship.

Prior to real estate Sterling spent 20 years in the luxury sales and hospitality industries. He understands that great business is based on the positive relationships you cultivate, with those in your industry, but most importantly with those you serve. This is paramount to his belief that ultimately it is who you are, not what you do, that defines you.

He believes that a thriving community is the centerpiece to a healthy and joyful family life and the life of the city in which we live as well. From the local business owners, to the families on the block, to the educators at the local school and even down to the local real estate agent, he believes that we all work together to create a successful community.
