Christine Gilbert is a native Californian, born and raised in Sacramento. She received a B.A. in Art/English and an M.A. degree in Educational Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She was dedicated to a thirty-three year career in education and retired in 2007 after working the last 16 years at Folsom High School in Folsom. Upon receiving a real estate sales license in 2002, she worked part time in both resale and new home sales in the Sacramento area. Following retirement, she moved to The Sea Ranch and into the house she built in 2002. Her "diminutive shingle castle" was included in the Lyndon & Alinder book entitled "Sea Ranch”.

Since 2007, her focus has been to assist buyers and sellers, navigating them through the sometimes challenging process in the North Coastal Area of Mendonoma. Her skills and ethical behavior have turned many of her clients into very good friends. She completed a G.R.I. (Graduate Realtor Institute) degree in September of 2008 and an eFast Class (Coldwell Banker for new agents) in 2010 which both provided much practical knowledge of real estate contracts

In 2016, Christine married a fellow teacher she had worked with in the Central Valley in the 70’s and commuted between The Sea Ranch and Sanger. Then, in 2019, Christine and her husband sold the residence in Sanger and moved with their dogs into a 1945 bungalow in the Proctor Terrace neighborhood of Santa Rosa. At that time, she transferred her license to Coldwell Banker Realty. She believes that living in both houses is the perfect situation, providing her with intimate knowledge of both The Sea Ranch and Santa Rosa markets.

Christine possesses strong organizational and communication skills. Her experience with building in The Sea Ranch and remodeling several homes gives her an ability to guide her clients that sets her apart from other agents.
