I grew up in a military family, my father is a retired Navy Chaplain.  This afforded me the opportunity to experience growing up in many places around the country.  We lived in Alaska, California and around the southeast US.  Being exposed to many different parts of the US while growing up and traveling with my family gave me the desire to live along the Front Range.  It also gave my wife and I the courage to move a long way from most of our families.

I attended North Georgia University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  NGU is also the senior military college of Georgia, so I was a member of the Corps of Cadets for three of my years there.  I enjoy watching college football, hiking, skiing and spending time with family and friends in many different settings.

After college I lived in Athens, GA for a number of years, this is also where my dad was stationed while I was in high school.  My career began in construction products and I worked for several companies in that space in my early career.  I met my wife in Savannah, GA while each of us were on separate work trips there.  We were married in 1999 and shortly after moved to Birmingham, AL where we lived for eight years.  My most recent career position there was as an area manager working with a sales team in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.  In 2009, we traveled to Colorado on vacation and spent several days in Colorado Springs.  Soon after that vacation trip, we made the decision to move to Colorado Springs.  In 2012 I decided to make a career change into real estate.  I spent the first three years in property management and in 2015 moved into real estate sales and investments.  I learned a lot about investment property in my time as a property manager and learned even more while working with investors to buy and sell rental property later.  I have helped clients buy and sell single family units and small multiple family units.

I believe my life experiences and career experiences give me a unique perspective when working with clients who want to buy or sell a home.  I have an understanding of the stress and excitement with relocation or being a military family.  I know about the products and materials involved in constructing a house or maintaining an investment property.  After seven years in the real estate sales arena, I am a good negotiator and fierce advocate for my clients.
