Education and Training

A Realtor since 1995, Michael has a Diploma in Business Administration from Ryerson Polytech (now Ryerson University) in Toronto, Canada.  He has also earned the following real estate designations from the National Association of Realtors:  ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative - held by only 10% of all Realtors). CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CMRS (Certified Mobility Relocation Specialist), CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert),CRS (Certified Residential Specialist - the PhD of real estate designations, held by less than 5% of all Realtors) and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource)

Community Involvement

Very active in the local Realtor Associations, Michael served on the Board of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association for six years and served two years as Fundraising Chair of RPAC (the Realtor Political Action Committee) for the Colorado Association of Realtors.  On behalf of all homeowners, RPAC helps preserve the benefits of home ownership such as the Mortgage Interest Deduction on your federal tax return.

Michael is also very involved and serves in leadership roles for several local and national charities.

Personal Background

Born in Canada, Michael moved to the United States in 1982 after several years in Israel where he served in the Israel Defense Forces and was a founding member of Kibbutz Ketura in Israel's southern desert area.  Married to his wife Laurie, who is also a Realtor, since 1987 they have four children - one son and three daughters, and two granddaughters.
