With over 20 years experience selling properties, Stewart Coleman is one of the most experienced agents in the Washington metropolitan area. During his career Stewart has experienced many different cycles in the real estate market, which helped him develop an adaptive approach on behalf of his clients. Like all other fields, technology has changed the face of real estate. Stewart has extensive knowledge and experience with the technological tools to help bring buyers and sellers together at maximum value. The principles of marketing have remained a constant, however, Stewart's extensive knowledge and experience in applying them to real estate sales have been crucial to his success. Clients and colleagues agree, though, that the foundation of his success is his focused and respectful style throughout the buying and selling process. He is known for his personable style and ability to clearly communicate ideas. Stewart's insights about home valuations, including the effects of renovation, help his clients make informed decisions when selling or buying their homes. A majority of our business is from repeat business and referrals from past clients and friends.
Stewart started his career in 1987 with John Stewart Walker, Inc. Worked with them 13-14 years. Worked for Sotheby's/ Tutt, Taylor, & Rankin Real Estate when he moved to DC. He's been with Coldwell Banker Georgetown since the summer of 2006.
Stewart is a graduate Lynchburg College 86' Bachelor of Arts English Major and History minor and studied at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Keble College, Oxford England.
He has done extensive work with non profit boards including fundraising & membership.
His hobbies include; gardening, art, antiques, historic home renovation and vintage automobiles
