Born and raised in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, siblings Wendy Leventhal-Broadfoot and David Leventhal share a deep connection to their roots and a passion for real estate. Wendy graduated from The Wheeler School and Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 1988, while David graduated from Moses Brown School and Northeastern University in 1990 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Their parents—Mom, a dedicated social worker who managed abused children shelters in Rhode Island, and Dad, a textiles industry veteran—instilled in them a strong work ethic and community focus.
In the 1970s, relatives of the Leventhal family moved to the Sarasota area, giving Wendy and David the opportunity to vacation in Florida. In 1988, their parents retired to Longboat Key, and in 1996, Wendy and her husband, John, made the move to Sarasota full-time to be closer to family and raise their three children. David followed in 2000, eager to become a full-time "uncle" and contribute to the family business.
Wendy, who had already established herself as a successful Realtor with Coldwell Banker, welcomed David to join her in growing the family business. Together, they have helped hundreds of families relocate to Sarasota/Manatee County, sharing their knowledge of the area’s stunning beaches, vibrant arts scene, world-class golf courses, boating, fishing, and the laid-back lifestyle that makes the region so special.
