Rodney Mendes Irala

Rodney Mendes has worked in Miami residential real estate for more than a decade, advising buyers and sellers through decisions that are often both financially significant and deeply personal.

After a four-year sabbatical centered on contemplation, travel, learning, and exploration, he is returning with a clearer sense of the kind of practice he wants to build: one grounded in knowledge and competence, and guided by generosity and care.

For Rodney, good representation begins with understanding the person behind the decision — what matters to them, what they are trying to accomplish, and how the decision fits into their lives. The better he understands those things, the more discernment he can bring to the advice and guidance he offers.

His role is to help clients gain clarity about what they want and need, understand the market, evaluate opportunities and tradeoffs clearly, and make decisions with greater confidence. He believes good representation should support a client’s judgment rather than replace it.

His aim is for the process to be handled well and move elegantly, with as little unnecessary friction as the circumstances allow, without avoiding necessary tension.

His practice is centered on Miami residential real estate. Over the years, however, his clients and relationships have extended across the United States, Brazil, South America, Europe, and beyond. That experience has given him an international perspective on a business that remains fundamentally personal.
