David Gianascoli

David Gianascoli, Partner and Founder of Gee’s Group

was born in Philadelphia, PA. Moved to Hampton Roads with his parents in 1976 and graduated from Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Attend Old Dominion University and graduated with a BS in Finance, with an emphasis on Real Estate.

In 1996, David started Gee’s Group, a real estate development company, that would specialize in the building of class “A” office buildings in Hampton Roads. Since then, Gee’s Group has built over 1,200,000 square feet of office, retail, residential and storage products throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. Some of his developments including the redesign of Metropolitan Park, a minor league baseball stadium, into a 40-acre class “A” office park. A 58-acre WWII armament storage facility in 500 residential units, two hotels and 70,000 square feet of retail product. In 2002, Gee’s Group ventured into the housing business and developed The Estates at RiverPointe, the home of the 2003 Tidewater Builders Association’s Homearama, and the first time it held in Portsmouth, Virginia. Since then, Gee’s Group has developed over 700 home sites. David is currently looking to actively develop property in Southwest Florida.

Personal Interests

Outside of real estate development, David is passionate about staying active and competitive. He is an avid golfer and tennis player and has a lifelong love of baseball, both as a fan and the sport’s role in building community—an interest reflected in several of his development projects. David is also a devoted dog lover and enjoys spending time with his dogs whenever possible. These interests reflect his belief in balance, discipline, and the importance of community, both personally and professionally.
