My buying customers tell me I can get to the "heart" of what they're looking for. Part of that is market knowledge-- identifying communities with the desired amenities, waterfront (Gulf or Bay) and views. Another part is knowing how you plan to use the property-- full time residence, vacation home or income property. Then it's all about your lifestyle: hobbies, pursuits, entertaining style, and recreational choices--boating, golf, tennis. Maybe you're looking for the "walkability" of the downtown lifestyle. In any case, I listen well and can match you with the perfect property.
For those of you selling a property, I research the market and provide you with a market analysis of your home's value and a pricing strategy to suit your timing. I've just completed the Luxury Home Marketing Specialist course to address the unique needs of properties over $1 million. I have an MBA from the University of Chicago so I am very comfortable with the financial and investment side of residential real estate. My background as Vice President of Marketing in the catalog/online retail industry gives me the expertise to develop effective marketing programs to sell your property in a very competitive environment.
I have a background in home furnishings with Crate & Barrel Catalogue, Spiegel Catalog and Better Homes & Gardens Magazine plus Pottery Barn retail. This experience gives me insight into preparing your home for sale including staging the property, if needed. I can advise you on what renovations/updates have the most impact on the sale price. I can also look at a property you're considering purchasing with regards to investment in updates and improvements. In short, let me put my experience and expertise to work for you.
As a real estate professional, I understand the true value of our community. I'm Fundraiser Chairwoman for "Rays of Light, Service for Sight" a luncheon and fashion show benefitting Southeastern Guide Dogs and Lighthouse of Manasota on February 7, 2015. Sponsored by Delta Gamma Alumnae of Sarasota, we raise money to train guide dogs for the blind and provide basic living services/training for the blind in our community. This is our 21st year of the event.
I also support our local charitable organizations through my participation in Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate CARES. Since 2001, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate CARES has donated over $1.5 million to a wide array of non-profit educational, health, welfare, environmental and cultural arts organizations. Since 2003, we’ve sponsored 12 Habitat for Humanity homes statewide, with several more in progress. This initiative continues to position Coldwell Banker as a leader in support of this truly worthwhile organization
