I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SARASOTA. I arrived in 2003 from Virginia and it has felt like home ever since. The more roads I drive down and the more people I meet, the better it gets.

My approach to real estate is pragmatic and market savvy, shaped by regularly studying the Gulf Coast market and 20+ years of living here. I provide clear, low-pressure guidance rooted in data, strategy, and experience. My style is professional yet relaxed, with careful attention to detail and thoughtful guidance throughout the process. The goal is for transactions to unfold with clarity rather than urgency.

I have such a lucky life here. Living where others vacation is highly recommended. Going to the beach on a whim, hitting a tiki bar to catch some great live music and wearing flip flops all winter long are all as splendid as you imagine. I like urban sketching especially at local restaurants. And even though I no longer play, I am a huge fan of professional tennis. Now I swim laps, it’s a meditative escape almost as effective as the beach. 

In 1987, I happily fell into a career in fashion. Somehow I managed to turn a ride on an elevator along with math and chemistry class into 30 years of fabric, factories and the New York Garment District. Along the way I worked at Apple, that sealed my fate as a geek. And being an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University taught me to do, not teach. Go Rams. After 36 years of Virginia, it only took 2 years in New England to have me sprinting to Florida.

Real Estate enthusiasm runs in my family. From going to open houses with my parents (who were only looking to be tempted to move, not actually move) as a child to buying and selling houses myself before FSBO was really a thing. After moving to Sarasota, I helped northern friends and family find their perfect tropical home. Once I started getting requests to help prepare houses to sell I realized it was time to get my license.
