More about Karen Wantuck

Mae West once said, "I've done a lot of places and been a lot of things" and if you live long enough, that does seem to be so.
After years spent in the arts it became evident that though glamorous, my work as Arts Writer/Critic for Atlanta's major papers and magazines, and as a college art instructor, were not going to be lucrative careers.

Along the way, I saved every penny possible and invested in real estate owning ultimately two twelve (12) unit apartment buildings, numerous duplexes, and single family homes. These properties I managed myself and learned a lot about human nature.

It was through real estate that I was able to achieve wealth. And it is that experience, through those many years of buying and selling, that I share now. I've had the opportunity to work with wonderful people from young singles, to seniors who think young.

To date, I've assisted in buying/selling property on Longboat Key up to Lakewood Ranch, from South of Clark , to North of University...and even down to North Port and Port Charlotte. On a monthly basis I personally visit dozens of homes to keep aware of pricing vs. product, and on a daily basis I review listings and constantly work with my database of buyers and sellers worldwide to find what works for them financially. By the time we meet, most of the work is done. What's left is simply making dreams come true.

My clients will confirm that it is more a fact than a boast that working with me provides you with someone who uses intelligence and creativity, education and energy to help you achieve your real estate needs at this moment in time.

WE TALK, I SEARCH, WE TALK, WE VISIT, WE TALK, I NEGOTIATE.....And even after a sale, I'm there for you helping still. Sometimes, for years after a purchase, a sale, I'm there for you.

As your real estate pro I use no guess work, rather research and the ability to work with a diverse group of people when handling negotiations, being creative throughout the process, and having an unfailing desire to make it happen for you, be that a buying or selling process.

    • Longboat -- Gulf of Mexico Drive flanked by fabulous condos, canal homes and golf communities. A tranquil few minutes from continental St. Armand's Circle.
    • Lido -- Stroll to St. Armands Circle for dinner at a cafe, watch the sunset from the beach, or from your condo balcony.
    • Siesta -- A downtown more like the 60s than the cafe society of Lido. Back roads that wend their way through dense Florida flora, or Midnight Pass for condos that gaze out to the Gulf or Bay. Or modest canal homes crying out for renovation...or mansions just completed.

    • Downtown -- City view to water views and everything walking distance to restaurants and movies and galleries and weekly markets featuring flowers, and all manner of arts and crafts.

    • The Mainland -- For shopping, golf and reasonably priced villas, townhomes, maintenance-free communities....mansions.

    • Venice -- Charming town center, modest homes walking distance to the most famous USA beach for panning for sharks teeth, a doggy-friendly sandy beach...and villa and condo communities galore.
    • North Port and Port Charlotte -- The home of the Brave(s)...Atlanta Braves that is. Yes, a stadium built just for them and burgeoning communities springing up even before Spring Training began. A city in the making.

What did I forget? Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch?
