Les Stumpff

I was raised in rural Indiana and earned my degree from Indiana University, where I developed an early passion for accounting. After relocating to Tampa, I obtained my CPA license while working as a healthcare auditor with Price Waterhouse.

Five years later, I discovered my passion for real estate when I joined Arthur Rutenberg Homes in Fort Myers as Controller, overseeing Gulf Coast operations from Naples through Bradenton. After a three-year tenure at the company’s corporate headquarters in Clearwater, I continued building my leadership experience with publicly traded Ryland Homes in Orlando and later Atlanta. Over the next 20 years, I gained deep expertise in land development and homebuilding, along with firsthand experience navigating the challenges, risks, and rewards of residential real estate.

In 2019, I transitioned into real estate sales while living in Atlanta. When the pandemic disrupted markets in early 2020, my wife and I relocated to our home in Orlando, where I earned my Florida real estate license. In early 2021, I took on an additional role as CFO of my wife’s interior design firm, a position I continue to hold while working remotely from our home in Sarasota.

Today, I work primarily through referrals and am proud to be part of the Coldwell Banker Realty Sarasota team. I look forward to contributing to—and reinforcing—the firm’s professionalism and long-standing reputation as Sarasota’s premier real estate company.
