More about Deborah Branscomb

I have lived and worked in Atlanta, neighborhood to neighborhood, for most of my adult life and have seen it change and grow.  Atlanta’s neighborhoods have something for everyone.  Whether living downtown near the Beltway and nightlife in Midtown, Virginia Highlands and Little Five Points,   or making your home in the burbs near the Greenway and Chattahoochee River, Atlanta has much to offer.

My work life led me to travel the state. As a Special Assistant to Georgia Secretary of State Max Cleland, I lived in Grant Park near my office at the state Capitol.  My job as his scheduler and appointments secretary required me to get to know many people and places all over our peach state.   Before my residence in Grant Park, I lived in rural Georgia, Lake Hartwell and Elberton, as a newspaper reporter. Finally, I returned to Atlanta with my husband where we raised our two girls, starting first in the Drew Valley neighborhood, now an extension tucked away in Brookhaven and later settled in Alpharetta where we live now.

During those years, I became a real estate investor and still hold many properties throughout metro Atlanta.  Coldwell Banker was my go-to to find investment properties and also when I worked as an assistant to a longtime real estate agent here in Dunwoody.

In all my work life through the years, house shopping has always been my favorite, and that is the reason I have joined Coldwell Banker as a new agent.  I look forward to helping clients search for a house to call home,  or an investment property.  Atlanta’s tree-lined neighborhoods have grown in a tasteful way with recreation areas for families and mixed-use properties for younger professionals.  So, there is something for everyone choosing Atlanta either as their new home, or for retirement, a new community to live.
