Patti Nakagawa

Patti Nakagawa is the Global Luxury Director at Coldwell Banker Realty-Hawaii, overseeing the highly successful Global Luxury program and leading a team of over 100 luxury property specialists.  She has led the team of luxury real estate leaders on Oahu since 2008. Patti began her career with Coldwell Banker in 2003 as the broker-in-charge for the Honolulu office, guiding her team of 130+ sales associates to become the top-producing office in Hawaii. Over her 20+ years, the Honolulu office has consistently ranked among the nation’s top performing branches.

Patti's expertise goes beyond real estate, with an extensive track record in luxury retail.  At DFS Hawaii, she held senior roles in merchandising, store operations and marketing, significantly contributing to the company’s global success. Her four decades of experience in sales, operations management, and marketing highlight her comprehensive skillset. Patti excels in leadership, sales management and business development in both real estate and luxury retail.

An active member of professional organizations such as the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR) Honolulu Board of Realtors (HBR), and the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM), Patti’s commitment to the industry is unwavering. She served on the HAR Forms Committee (2004 – 2007) and contributed to the redevelopment of HAR forms in line with evolving industry standards in 2024. Patti earned her Broker’s license in 2008 and designations as a Luxury Property Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), and Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS).

In 2009, Patti played a pivotal role in establishing Coldwell Banker Realty’s House Speakers Toastmasters club, fostering leadership and communication growth among sales associates and employees. Her ongoing mentorship and leadership within the club highlight her dedication to professional development.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Nakagawa is an alumna of Roosevelt High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development.  She also pursued advanced education in business.

Outside of her professional life, Patti embraces her passions. She enjoys traveling, playing pickleball, and playing the ukulele. Patti and her husband, Nelson, cherish time with their children and grandchildren whenever they visit the mainland.
