Kathie started her real estate career in 1972 working at the Kailua office of Waikiki Realty, Ltd. She then went on to work for Wade Ltd., a very successful boutique-style real estate company also based in Kailua. In 1999, Kathie seized the opportunity to work with one of the nation's leading real estate firms and Hawaii's leading real estate company in terms of market share, listing inventory and total sales volume…Coldwell Banker Realty.

Kathie is a dedicated Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty bringing over 50 years of experience to her clients. Known for her unwavering commitment to making the home buying and selling process as smooth and stressfree as possible, Kathie has built a reputation for trust, care, and results. Her motto is “Serving You With Trust and Aloha”.

In 2003 she was an Aloha Aina winner for her excellent service to her clients and she was one of 10 national finalists for the Realtor Magazine's Good Neighbor Award. A consistent top producer, Kathie’s focus is on her clients and their satisfaction is her greatest reward. In 2019 she received the Coldwell Banker Legacy Award.

Kathie has been a volunteer for the public schools and various community organizations in Kailua for 30+ years. Kathie chaired Project Graduation at Kalaheo High School in 1993, where she received support from Mike McKenna and the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation.

Beyond real estate, Kathie is the passionate founder and president of Community Helping Schools, a nonprofit organization she launched in 2000 after recognizing a growing need in Hawaii’s public schools. Moved by the fact that many teachers were paying out of pocket for classroom supplies, Kathie took action. Today, Community Helping Schools continues to connect generous community donors with public school teachers’ wish lists, ensuring students and educators have the tools they need to succeed.

Kathie’s joy are her 4 grandchildren which as of 2025 are all on Oahu!
