John Kiriakopoulos, a native of Waukegan, has followed a remarkable journey through the realms of golf and real estate, embodying the spirit of dedication and commitment throughout his career. John's journey began with an extraordinary blend of skills as both a caddie and a dedicated student. His exceptional performance earned him an Evans Scholarship, affording him the opportunity to pursue higher education at Northern Illinois University. In 1999, he proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Degree, specializing in Operations Management.

In 2007, John became a Class A member of the PGA of America. Notably, through hard work and dedication he was awarded the Illinois Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. He was hired as a PGA Head Golf Professional and General Manager, embarking on a remarkable transformation of a struggling golf course in Gurnee. Under John's leadership, the course achieved profitability for the first time in 14 years after just one year of management. Such a remarkable turnaround didn't go unnoticed, and the course earned the honor of being voted best golf course in the Chicagoland area by the readers of the Daily Herald.

In 2014, John's path led him to a fresh opportunity as the Director of Instruction at the private club at Briarwood CC in Deerfield. He embraced the role with enthusiasm, sharing his passion for the game of golf with club members. During his tenure at Briarwood, John experienced a deep-seated desire to extend his assistance beyond the golf course and discovered a profound interest in helping individuals find their first homes—a passion rooted in his own journey as a homeowner years earlier.

In 2015, John decided to pursue a part-time role in the real estate industry, obtaining his license in Illinois. He joined Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) in Libertyville, Illinois, and over the years, he honed his skills and established a strong foothold in the field. His commitment to his clients and community was unwavering. In 2018, John made a significant career shift by fully dedicating himself to the real estate profession, aiming to provide a broader spectrum of services to his clients. His guiding principle, eloquently captured in his statement, "Not everyone golfs, but everyone needs a home. I have a chance to make a difference in everyone’s life!" reflects his genuine commitment to helping individuals and families find their dream homes and making a positive impact on his local community through real estate.

In 2022, John's exceptional performance in real estate earned him several accolades, including the Top Agent and Fastest Growing Agent awards by Homesnap, BHHS Honor Society recognition (top 16% of BHHS agents), the 2022 Outstanding Real Estate Broker title, and the 100% Mortgage Capture Award. During the same year, John expanded his expertise by venturing into the commercial real estate sector, joining the Commercial Group team at BHHS.

Today, John recently transitioned to Coldwell Banker's Libertyville office, excited to forge a new partnership to continue serving his family, friends, and long-term clients through residential and commercial. John is also licensed in Wisconsin and Indiana, enabling him to provide comprehensive real estate services across the Midwest for his clients.
