Biography

Jana N. Bonds has been providing excellence in sales, media, marketing, real estate and community outreach for over 20 years.

After receiving her BA degree in Communications from Purdue University, Jana began her career at the Jenny Jones Show. Her talents gained the notice of radio pioneer Taft Harris who brought her to the Crawford Broadcasting Company as Chief Board Operator. In 15 years, Jana has climbed the ranks at CBC assuming the positions of both Program Director and Marketing Director to now a top Executive Manager with titles of WYCA "Rejoice 102.3FM" Station Manager and Local Sales Manager for stations WPWX-FM "Power 92" and WSRB-FM "Soul 106.3." She also consults other CBC stations across the country.

In her leadership roles, Jana has coordinated efforts with churches to benefit less fortunate families and communities with supplying clothing, food and other needs. She has developed several holiday toy drives benefitting various children's hospitals. She's a member of Temple of Deliverance In Christ in Gary, Indiana where her father Dr. Lorenzo Bonds is Pastor. There Jana leads and serves on several committees including the President of the Visitor/Community Development Committee. Jana has earned several awards including being named one of The Chicago Defender's top 50 Women of Excellence Award. She is also the Board Chair for the P.O.P. Foundation (Project Outreach Prevention) organization for to prevent violence in youth in Indiana and Illinois.

In her spare time, she travels and loves activities from skydiving to horseback riding. Jana is one of 5 children to loving parents Lorenzo and Sybil Bonds.
