His most interesting and rewarding project was helping a congregation purchase a decommissioned church property as its new permanent home, allowing a 115 year-old church building to be preserved and revitalized as an anchor in the community.

For his landlords, Herb gives their properties broad exposure to the rental market and works hard to match them up with great tenants.

Herb lives in Arlington, and enjoys bicycling, tennis, and learning German in his free time. His favorite philanthropies are Crane Mt. Valley Horse Rescure, Greenpeace, and National Rescources Defense Council.
