For as long as she can remember, real estate has been part of Marsha MacLean’s life. She began working in the industry at just 14 years old, gaining firsthand experience in nearly every facet of the business long before launching her own career. That early foundation shaped what would become a lifelong passion — and ultimately established her reputation as one of the most respected and knowledgeable real estate professionals in Massachusetts.

While still in college, Marsha helped launch a small independent office, quickly proving her entrepreneurial instincts and natural ability to connect with clients and agents alike. She later became deeply involved in the emerging new construction market in South Boston, successfully helping sell out two major residential developments with Pappas Enterprise at a time when luxury new construction was still a relatively new concept within the city.

After spending several years living in Marion and raising her young family, Marsha returned to the Boston area in 2013 and rapidly built one of the region’s most recognized real estate businesses. Through an unwavering commitment to relationships, market expertise, and innovation, she doubled her business year after year and became known for her strategic approach, strong negotiation skills, and ability to anticipate market trends.

In 2019, Marsha was recruited to lead the Coldwell Banker Realty office in Newton as Managing Broker. Stepping into leadership with the same drive that fueled her sales career, she quickly transformed the office through coaching, education, technology adoption, and innovative business development strategies. Under her leadership, the office rose from a top 40 ranking to one of the top ten offices in Massachusetts.

Marsha later joined forces with Hammond Residential Real Estate, partnering with Jim Nemetz to co-manage nearly 400 agents across the Coldwell Banker | Hammond Residential offices in Newton, Brookline, and Chestnut Hill. Together, the offices now generate more than $1.9 billion in annual sales volume, representing some of the most accomplished agents and luxury properties in New England.

Known for her forward-thinking leadership style, Marsha is deeply committed to agent development, client experience, and elevating the standards of the real estate industry. She believes that education, coaching, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional marketing are essential in helping agents and clients achieve extraordinary results.
