The units are stored in the shed until needed. There is highly energy efficient R-20 open cell foam insulation in the crawl space, as well as R-49 fiberglass blown insulation in the attic. Renters will need to establish an account with the local Electric Company (SMECO) for electric power. Water is from a private well on the property that is shared by our two houses. Water is treated by a softener, and the water pressure is good. There are two hose bibs on the outside of this house for connecting garden hoses. The house has its own septic system. There is no charge for water/septic. Weekly trash service is paid for by the landlord. Renters are responsible for maintaining the lawn around the renter house, as needed (mowing/trimming/leaf & branch cleanup). The landlord provides a gas mower, gas cans, electric weed wacker and charger, and two trash cans for use. Small-medium dogs will be considered on a case by case basis. The back yard is fully fenced. We love them, but sorry, no cats. If a rental application is submitted, the landlords will charge the applicant $33 to cover the cost of a criminal and financial background check.
