The hotel belonged to the Turner-Parke family that owned the entire village and it's mill. The founding family sold the hotel in 1892. At one time there had also been a post office and a millinery shop in the hotel structure itself. The Parkton Hotel is perched with majestic views of the Gunpowder River. A remarkable place in every way searching for it's new steward. The house is in a state of disrepair and no interior access is permitted.
