Melanie Cathcart

Melanie combines her first hand knowledge buying and selling residential properties with industry expertise to guide clients through a positive real estate journey.  She enjoys learning about her clients to help them find the best buyer for their home or to find their perfect property.

Melanie’s interest in real estate began in 2001, when after serving in the United States Navy, she and her husband were in search of a home to raise their children.  They spent time enjoying each other's home states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania before a trip to Maine made them realize what they truly wanted was to raise their family outside the comfort zone of childhood neighborhoods.  Why Maine?  Schedule a meeting to find out why they chose Maine and why Melanie is the right person to lead you through finding your next home, vacation home, or investment property.

When not working with a client Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, experiencing Maine’s outdoor activities, updating the home she shares with her husband and two children, horseback riding, planning trips to Scotland, or sitting at the beach hiding with a good book.
