Biography

A lifelong resident of Yarmouth, my family built the first modern winterized home on Cousins Island. The year was 1956. This was the same year the 2,500 foot bridge was built, and the following year Central Maine Power plant was completed. I grew up surrounded by water and have been passionate about the ocean, the surrounding islands, and the Maine Coast ever since. I offer my seller clients, and my buyer clients an extensive understanding of just how unique and localized the real estate market is whether it by land or by sea.

Areas of Expertise

31 plus years dedicated to the office equipment industry. I experienced the transition from analog to digital technology. Some companies within the real estate industry have kept up and followed suit. Buying and selling real estate is also very different now. What worked before may not work as well today. Bar none, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the leader in real estate technology tools and I take advantage of these company offered tools because it benefits everyone I work with. Change is inevitable and progress is relevant, which most often creates positive results.

My travels took to me to every city, town, and road in the counties of York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, and Androscoggin. Understanding location is a critical component in real estate. It means different things to different people. It is an important attribute for me to offer as I represent my buyers and sellers. 

I also owned and operated a Xerox Agency based in Portland and served the four counties mentioned above. Business ownership honed my business skills and directly applies to managing complex real estate tranactions today. Bringing two or more parties together with a goal of total customer satisfaction is successfully achieved through a process I call " Faultless Transaction".

I also have experience as a small contractor specializing in barrier free, accessible bathroom solutions and renovations. I established a network of licensed trade professionals to include plumbing, electrical, flooring, and tile installation. I have a true understanding of what some home remodeling project's cost and the actual timeframes to complete. This knowledge is transferable to my clients and can be invaluable on the decisions they make as sellers, and as buyers.
