As an experienced sales associate in the Portland office of Coldwell Banker Realty, Laura Fassett has developed a tried-and-true and very “Maine-like” approach to every conversation with her clients – with honesty, kindness and a genuine desire to help. Specializing in single-family homes in the Greater Portland area and Midcoast region (Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Freeport, Brunswick, Topsham, etc.), Laura enjoys helping young people buy their first home, families who are upsizing or downsizing, and retirees preparing to get their home ready for the market. She also has experience working with investors to find homes to renovate, as well as out-of-state clients looking to relocate or own a second home in Maine.

A long-time resident of Maine, Laura brings community expertise and understanding to each transaction. She expertly guides sellers through the process of preparing their home for market, providing access to her deep network of contractors, helping the property shine and getting the best possible price. Laura earned her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College (Norton, Mass), and previously worked in education and the food industry. This gave her a client-centered view, and experience working with a wide range of people and needs, negotiating solutions that work for everyone. Her background in education serves her well in real estate, using her strong communication skills to convey information directly, clearly, and firmly, yet with a light touch! Laura guides clients skillfully through their negotiation without pressure, always leading the way with a calm and confident tone.

The mother of three grown children (and 2 adorable dogs!), Laura enjoys singing in the Millennium Magic Chorus in her spare time and has also helped the organization in the roles of Assistant Director, Section Leader, membership chair, fundraising chair, and show chair. Laura also enjoys seasonal boating out of her shared family home in Boothbay Harbor.
