“What is your why?” is a question frequently raised in this line of work. It refers to what drives us; what our motivating force is. It will come as no surprise that I will answer that my family is my everything. The sun rises and sets with those I consider family. Outside of the office, you will find me with them. We may be listening to music by a campfire, watching the kids play in the woods, listening to waves crashing along the shore, or watching snowfall from the hot tub.

My background is a diverse one. It’s a source of pride that every former employer would be delighted to see me walk through their door again. I’ve worked in professional office settings, waited tables, trained as an LMT, acted in feature films, cared for senior citizens, managed retail shops, and I’ve built a reputation of excellence and respect in corrections. The resume I’ve composed is richest in one aspect: customer service. It is the common denominator and I am intimately familiar with the concept. In recent years, customer service as a whole has degraded remarkably. However, due to the fact it has been my foundation for so many years, I am deeply passionate about its integrity.

As a society we are all sharing a collective experience. It is now the norm to experience poor resolution from an unsatisfactory experience, communication is erratic or nonexistent, and we must now summon all our patience to await a response to any and all inquiries. Proper customer service has all but vanished from our society. I’ve grown very tired of these poor experiences myself, and I am determined to prevent my clients from contending with them.

It’s relevant to connect who I am as a person with who I am in the workplace. Simply, I want your experience as a client to be outstanding. I want to be your advocate, I want to surpass all your expectations, I want to be your teammate, I want to earn your trust, and above all I want to lighten your burden. If I can accomplish all of that, I know I’ve secured my reputation and longevity as a realtor. When that objective is achieved, I can be certain that “my why” will always be able to rely on me.
