Joe’s leadership philosophy is rooted in Coldwell Banker Realty’s core principle of helping agents live exceptional lives.

Joe is an entrepreneur and successful agent himself. Prior to becoming the Branch Manager in Stillwater, Joe was a successful agent at 22 years old with Coldwell Banker in Sarasota, FL.

He cut his teeth on small business management when in, 2012, he became a franchisee of ACFN, North America’s only ATM Franchise, in Portland, Oregon. Over the course of two years, Joe grew his network of ATM’s from 1 to 12 before selling his business to another franchisee to move back home to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and obtain his MBA.

While attending the Carlson School of Management, Joe created the business plan for what would become Braman Brothers Real Estate, LLP - one of the Twin Cities’ fastest growing real estate sales teams in the history of Coldwell Banker Realty.

Joe, and his brother Charlie Braman, set out to create a real estate company that could provide unrivaled customer service to residential real estate clients, while also creating greater access to safe, affordable, and ethically managed housing in the Twin Cities.

Within 5 years, Joe and his brother generated over $1.5million in revenue, selling over 220 homes for over $70million in volume, and were able to achieve Coldwell Banker Realty’s most distinguished ranks in the President’s Club. In that same time frame, Joe and Charlie generated an annualized return-on-investment of over 60%, while also achieving their goal of providing greater access to affordable housing.

Joe now uses his experience as a successful agent, small business owner, and entrepreneur to help the agents in the Stillwater office build their own businesses, achieve their own goals, and live the exceptional lives every real estate agent can live.

Joe was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon (B.A., 2009); and the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management (M.B.A., 2016). He currently lives in White Bear Lake, Minnesota with his husband and their Doberman. In his spare time, he enjoys boating and fishing on White Bear Lake, outdoor adventures in Northern MN, and traveling.
