Business Philosophy

With my background in Finance, I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the largest financial decisions that most people will make in their lifetime. Since home ownership is an investment, approaches to real estate need to be well organized, carefully researched, and thoughtfully undertaken. However, a home is also one of the few investments that provides so much more:  everything from shelter and comfort to personal expression; connection to neighbors, friends, and family; and ultimately providing our sense of place and belonging.

I understand and appreciate the importance of all elements of real estate decision-making, and am ready to support you with my time, training, experience, and company resources so you can make the best possible decision for your unique needs and circumstances.

Personal Background

I grew up in Oregon, though my extended family has always lived in Minnesota and this has always felt like "home" to me. After graduating with a B.S. in Communications from Oregon State University (go Beavers!), and an M.S. in Finance from Purdue University (go Boilers!), I moved to Detroit to begin my corporate career with General Motors. That's where I met my best friend and life partner Patrick -- we were married in 1985 and he has has kept me laughing ever since. We moved "home" to Minnesota in 1995 where we raised our two sons. I am fortunate to have so many wonderful friends and family members who have enriched my life, and I'm grateful for the many life experiences that have brought me to where I am today. I continue to be excited about the field of real estate and look forward to helping my clients find "home" for them.
