Jess Dolney

Hi, I’m Jessica Dolney, but you can call me Jess. I’m a Realtor® with Coldwell Banker.

I grew up in Hutchinson, Minnesota and now live in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis. Before real estate, I spent years working in restaurants, cafés, and bars, along with time as a gardener and floral designer. Those experiences taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to communicate clearly so people feel comfortable asking questions.

I also spent several years traveling and living in different places, including Montana, Texas, and New Zealand. I still love to travel, especially anywhere I can snorkel, and that experience shapes how I approach real estate. Everyone is looking for something a little different in a home, and my job is to help you figure out what actually fits your life.

Buying or selling a home can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time. My goal is to make sure you understand what’s happening at every step so you can make decisions confidently. I’m not a high-pressure salesperson. I won’t rush you into writing an offer you’re unsure about, and I’m always happy to talk things through, even if you’re just starting to think about moving.

I work with buyers and sellers throughout the state and believe a good agent should do more than open doors. You deserve honest advice, clear explanations, and someone willing to point out details you might otherwise miss.

Outside of real estate, I’m a writer and avid reader. I write for the Women’s UN Report Network (WUNRN) on women’s issues, and I’m a lifelong learner currently taking classes through the University of Minnesota. I also previously studied business at the University of Houston. When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, writing, or tending to my houseplants, and I share my home with my orange cat, Penny.
