Hi there- thanks for checking me out.   I started selling houses in 2001, after being working with architects and builders and corporate America for 20 years as a Carpet Manufactures rep.   I was actually returning to selling houses- I had briefly been a Realtor with Burnet right after graduating from Carleton in 1980. 

I love my job and My Client's BEST INTEREST is my ONLY Priority.  Being a full-service, full-time realtor- helping buyers and sellers with all their residential real estate needs- makes me very happy.  And it is a job I really do well- and my clients know it- all of my business comes from old clients connecting me to their friends and family.

Business Philosophy
As I said my clients' best interests are my only priority.  Honesty- and Thorough and ACCURATE COMMUNICATION with all parties- is at the top of my list.  A clear understanding of, ... and the meeting of, EVERYONE'S EXPECTATIONS is critical.  Everyone needs to be on the same page. 

And if you are buying a home (house, townhouse, condo, whatever) it needs to be something you love- not just today or tomorrow, but in 3-5-7-10 years.  I pride myself in helping my clients consider both their short- and long-term goals and needs. 

And it needs to be a team effort- we all need to be on the same page, you, me, and the variety people that will be assisting us along the way.  I am connected to the best in the industry: knowledgeable and thorough inspectors (for you as a buyer, or for the city as a seller); insightful, resourceful and honest loan officers- I have great ones to refer you to if you need one; professional and attentive title people doing the closing, etc.,  AND the other agent(s) involved.  Again communication is king.   After finding you the perfect house, getting to a smooth closing is paramount.

Although I am truly an independent contractor- I won't be farming you off to some other team member- I love (and appreciate) that I am connected to Coldwell Banker Burnet- and specifically the Minneapolis Lakes office.  They are the best- the finest in the industry.  Even back in the 80's in White Bear Lake, when it was JUST Burnet Realty- we have always led the way in the ever-changing real estate market.  And change is happening now more than ever- it is why you need to be connected to someone you trust, someone who pays attention. As a home buying or selling customer, you can be confident that if I ever need help, I will not hesitate to make the call- get the newest insight- even call my old boss, Matt Baker, who was my office manager for 18 years and is now the president of CBBurnet.  Whatever it takes to make sure things go smoothly, correctly, for you.

The world has changed since the 80's when agents only sold what they knew, where they grew-up... for me it was White Bear and the St Paul market.  But now with MLS - I have helped clients buy and sell all over the metro- everywhere and everything from million-dollar Minnetonka Lakeshore to Senior Living in Cottage Grove; from downtown condos to Lake Calhoun penthouses to larger acreages; and lots and lots single family houses, condos and townhouses in Eagan, Plymouth, Minnetonka, MacGroveland/Crocus Hill/Highland, Forest Lake, St Louis Park, Stillwater, Golden Valley, etc....  ... and absolutely- first time homebuyers continue to be some of my favorites.  Such excitement, so many things to consider.  So big or small, I am thrilled to help you find the perfect spot.
