Brian Leonhardt grew up in Blaine, Minnesota and attended Spring Lake Park High School where he excelled in sports and the classroom. He was a captain in track and field, football, and wrestling. Brian garnered all-state honors in both wrestling and track and field while gaining all-conference honors in football. In the class room he graduated in the top ten percent of his class of 340 people in 2008. Outside the class room he did volunteer work for Big Brother Big Sisters and was also a Panther Mentor.

             After high school, he received a scholarship to attend Bemidji State University where he participated in football and track and field. Brian graduated with a 3.72 GPA, with a degree in Business Administration with emphases in Management and Marketing.  In 2011-2012 Brian earned All-American honors in football as well as first team academic All-American honors for the BSU Beavers. 

              In the spring of 2013 Brian signed with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League where he played two seasons.  He spent the 2016 offseason with the Minnesota Vikings and ended his four-year career with the Arizona Cardinals. 

               Following the 2016-2017 season in the N.F.L Brian went through classes to obtain his real estate license which he then joined his cousin Joshua Leonhardt at Coldwell Banker Burnet Realty in Forest Lake and the JL Leonhardt Team.

               Brian currently lives in Fridley with his wife Brittany who is a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at Minneapolis Children's Hospital.  Him and his wife have a passion for the outdoors and in his free time you can find him either fishing, hunting or at a state park backpacking.
