My formal education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, BSEd, and from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, MMEd, have solidified my love of teaching. Not just teaching in the public school systems for 20 plus years, but also guiding first time home owners and other clients through the arduous home buying and/or selling process. Earning these 2 degrees as well as raising two of my own children, have also given me valuable experience in the art of problem solving, insight, time management, perseverance, tenacity, patience and diligence. These life skills are essential in the real estate world and are a part of my everyday persona.

I have lived in various big cities, traveled the world and even lived in a major metropolis in Australia for three years (yup, that's right, kangaroos and everything), but I always come home to Troy. I grew up in Troy and love and respect the small hometown feel and way of life. My family and I are active in the community through various associations and have a strong church community. We also support several local organizations such as FFA, 4-H, Food for Life and more.
