This is one of the nicest camps on Butler Island. The protected easterly location in the bay allows for easy access to your dock. The stair from the beach brings you to this very private beautiful wood sided cottage nestled in a mature deciduous forest with open areas of mowed lawn for volleyball or other outdoor activities. When you enter the cottage, the wood finishes and post & beam structure feels warm and inviting. There is a full kitchen with an open floor plan for dining and living on the first floor. A wide stair brings you to an open second floor that can sleep several people. Hike the 6 mile perimeter nature path or just be a hermit. Watch the lake with her ever changing colors during the sun rises and sunsets. No thought about car traffic, noise and dust. Just embrace the Adirondacks or Green Mountains as your backdrop. Enjoy barbeques, dock hopping with friends, every water activity you can imagine or just quiet island time.
