Residence 4D The Schumacher NoHoResidence 4D at The Schumacher offers the rare opportunity to live in NoHo's most sought-after condominium. This stunning three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath loft home spans 2,900 square feet, distinguished by exceptional scale, 11-foot ceilings, four exposures, and massive custom wood-framed windows.Reimagined by architect Morris Adjmi, the residence pairs luxurious finishes with the historic loft's original details - barrel-vaulted brick and terra-cotta ceilings, monumental arched windows, and a level of craftsmanship rarely achieved in contemporary development.A gracious entry gallery unfolds as a 39-foot corridor of light, lined with windows overlooking the building's lush interior garden by Ken Smith. It opens seamlessly into the great room, composed for both daily living and entertaining, where four oversized arched windows frame leafy views over Mott Street. The open kitchen is a sculptural composition in Calacatta marble, anchored by a waterfall island and outfitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, custom cabinetry, and integrated smart-home technology. The primary suite is a private sanctuary with a 14' x 20' sleeping chamber, a 10' x 20' custom dressing room, and a windowed, spa-scaled en-suite bath with soaking tub, shower, and double vanity. Two additional bedrooms offer soaring ceilings, courtyard views, and en-suite baths - one ideally suited as a guest suite, studio, or library.Throughout, every detail reflects a disciplined commitment to craft: 8-foot oak-clad five-panel doors with matte black hardware, tailored millwork, custom vanities, blackened steel window surrounds, and natural oak floors.Originally built in 1885 as a lithographic printing house for Schumacher & Ettlinger, designed by Edward E. Raht, the building's historic facade remains richly intact with corbelled brickwork, arched openings, turrets, and ornamental detail. Today it stands as a boutique condominium of just 20 residences, blending 19th-century craftsmanship with modern infrastructure.Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, residents' library overlooking the sculpture garden, 750-square-foot fitness center, children's playroom, refrigerated storage, bicycle room, and a landscaped rooftop garden by Ken Smith. Residence 4D includes a large private storage unit. The following fees are associated with the rental application process:Background Report Fee $125.00 per applicantDigital Submission Fee $65.00Move-In Deposit (Refundable) $1,000.00Processing Fee $700.00
