516 Granite Rd Kerhonkson, NY 12446

516 Granite Road presents an opportunity for a buyer looking for a fixer-upper in a beautiful Hudson Valley setting. Following the discovery of evidence of old pest activity, the home was taken off the market for further evaluation, including a structural review. The evaluation found the overall structure to be in good condition while recommending replacement of the sill plate and rim joist along the front and rear of the home. The new price reflects this work and offers an opportunity to take on the improvements while creating a home with significant potential. Recent improvements include fresh interior paint, a new stove, new refrigerator, an updated bathroom, and a new water treatment system. The layout offers the flexibility of one-level living, with additional loft space on the second floor. Outside, the yard provides room for gardening, play, outdoor projects, or simply enjoying a quiet spot to unwind. Set in Kerhonkson, the property is well positioned for enjoying the natural beauty and outdoor recreation of the Shawangunk region. Mohonk Preserve, Minnewaska State Park, and Stony Kill Falls are all within easy reach, making this a natural fit for climbers, hikers, and anyone who appreciates having trails, open space, and mountain landscapes close by. A practical project with a strong foundation, appealing location, and the opportunity to create something uniquely your own.
