Maria Chou Bio

Professional:

· Licensed Realtor in New Jersey and New York

· Before Joining Coldwell Banker, Maria is experienced sales/marketing and business development professional with over 25 years’ experience in professional services.

· Maria is also the founder and the President and CEO of Telesia, LLC established in 2002, a Sales, Marketing & Business Development firm.  With an extensive experience in professional services, financial consulting, strategic consultations and executive recruiting.

· Maria has worked with Lucent AT&T/ Technologies for over 16 years in sales, marketing, business development, and system engineering as well as building and managing strong customer relationships, both in the U.S. and internationally. 

·  Maria was also a Director of Business Development for Strategic Thinking Group, operating out of the New York office and a VP of Business Development for Comrise Technologies in Hazlet, New Jersey, and a director of sales for Datatek Applications, Somerset, NJ.

· Maria was Penn State Univ faculty member in Computer Science and Senior High school physics teacher in Taiwan before moving to US.

Education:

· Maria earned a M.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University and received an Executive MBA certificate from Wharton Business School. 

· Maria has studied in Ph.D. program in Computer Engineering, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA.

· Maria received her B.S. in Physics from Taiwan University, speaks fluent English, native Chinese, Taiwanese and some Japanese.  

Honors:

· Maria was elected  and assigned by the President of Taiwan as an Oversea Compatriot  commissioner of OCAC (Overseas Community Affairs Council) of Taiwan, ROC from 2014-2016

· Maria was elected as CEO of USCOF (US Career Orientation Foundation) to help graduated students and companies to find suitable career and talents.

· Maria was elected Chairperson of PRFASIG (Pacific Rim Frame Relay/ATM/SMDS Interest Group) and received AT&T Bell Laboratories Exceptional Contribution Award.

Personal History: 

· Resident of Basking Ridge since 1986

· Bought and Sell 10 houses as owner and buyers in NJ, CA and Taiwan and China

· Married: 3 girls and 1 son

· Hobbies includes Swimming, TaiChi, Hiking, Golf and music.
