Ort History
Results In Real Estate...and why four generations and more than 90 Years of Success is so important.

Since the 1920’s, my family’s business has been anchored to our dedication to New Jersey’s Real Estate market.

In 1918 Charles C. Ort, my great grandfather, sold his buckwheat and flour mill in Mansfield, NJ, and began buying and selling farms. Charles was well known as a very successful Realtor. Charles bought and sold more farms than any other broker in Warren, Morris, Sussex, Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset and Middlesex counties.

Paul L. Ort, my grandfather, returned from World War II in the late 1950’s. Upon his return, Paul joined Charles, his father, in the family business. Paul gained recognition as a well known Realtor, Builder and Real Estate Counselor. As a successful Broker, Paul was appointed as the President of the Warren County Board of Realtors in 1958, and also served as Vice President of the New Jersey Association of Realtors.

In 1968, Thomas W. Ort, my father, graduated from Rider University and started his career in Real Estate. Thomas was a licensed Sales Associate, Real Estate Broker and Insurance Broker working in the family business with Paul. Thomas had to put his Real Estate career on hold when he was drafted into the US Army; he served until 1971. Upon return from his service in Germany, he immediately picked up where he left off and became well known through the county as a successful full-time Broker / Associate.

I am the fourth Ort generation to continue in the field of Real Estate. I am a full-time, top performing agent. I have successfully listed and sold homes in Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren Counties. I use extensive technology and cutting-edge tools to get the job done. My passion, the day-to-day work, is still rooted in the simple practices that have made my family successful in Real Estate.
