Hi! My name is Meg Mullin, and I’m a top-ranked realtor focused on the very best suburbs in North-Central New Jersey. The towns I cover have charming downtowns and awesome amenities, amazing open space and parks, great schools and recreational sports and easy access to New York City. Most of the people I work with specifically choose this area for any combination of those things, and I’m proud, honored and excited to partner with them to find (or sell) a home.

Growing up in deep South Jersey, I spent a ton of time in and around Morris County. My mom grew up directly across the street from where I live now (long story), and my grandparents lived there until — as my grandmother always promised — they had to be carried out. In fact, my grandma actually grew up a few houses down from there and I can see her childhood home from my bedroom window. That makes my kids fifth-generation Shunpike Road residents — but who’s counting?

Because I loved visiting this area so much as a child, I chose to attend the College of Saint Elizabeth (a full scholarship helped, too). I absolutely loved my time there and made a lot of great connections (including the woman who would later invite me into real estate — more on that later) and always hoped I’d end up back in the area.

Well, flash forward 15 years, and after a detour through Philadelphia and Washington, DC, my husband and I were on the hunt for a house with a decent commute to his new assignment in New York City. We found a home in Madison.

After we settled in, our Realtor Kim (the woman I met while babysitting her kids in college — love you Sammy and Meg!) asked if I might be interested in real estate. I had a relatively successful career in marketing and communications, but worked mostly from home and was anxious to spend some time around real, live people (who weren’t my kids — they were tiny and hardly conversational at that point). So I put my nose to the grindstone, got my license, and started working open houses and showing people what I loved about this area. From there, I was hooked.

What began in 2014 as a way to get out of the house and channel my energy has become a full-time career and full-blown passion. There is nothing I love more than helping people make a smooth transition from one chapter of their life to the next — whether it’s settling into their new home, or saying farewell to a house that served them well for 5, 10, 20 or even 50 years. I take pride in giving my clients my all — whether it’s a creative marketing strategy for the sale of their home (all those corporate business planning sessions paid off!), or a multi-pronged search plan (there’s that corporate jargon again…). I’ve managed more than 100 transactions to successful completion, and my clients seem pretty happy overall.
