As a child born and raised in Queens, New York, I was exposed to many different types of people after moving to Marlboro, New Jersey. This gave me a good understanding in terms of the different reactions people have to certain situations and why personal values might differ as well. While living in Queens, my parents felt that there was so much more to life, and in order to discover what is out there, we would have to change our environment. Because I never shied away from the idea of change, this was ultimately one of the best and happiest decisions that was made for me. 

Moving to a new town was definitely a bit nerve-wracking for me but at the same time, I was also looking forward to exploring my new environment. I really liked the schools that I was put into throughout my educational career. The buildings were a lot cleaner, and the teachers were more involved in the students' lives which made me want to do better in my classes. This led me to further my education after high school at Rowan University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
