More about Kate Wollman-Mahan
Kate’s extensive experience at the highest levels of real estate provide her with unique abilities to advise her clients that few other brokers possess. As a graduate of the Princeton University School of Architecture, Kate holds unparalleled expertise in the complexities of the market and the product type. In addition to architectural expertise, Kate has extensive work experience in real estate development and construction estimating and management. Kate formerly managed the design assist of a Renzo Piano Building Workshop residential condo in Soho. In addition to coops and condos, Kate holds a particular expertise in townhouses, and can advise on landmarks, zoning, construction, and architectural aspects of a site.
Kate has been recognized with numerous distinctions in the industry including International Diamond Society, Top 10% of Coldwell Banker Agents worldwide, International Sterling Society, and nominated for REBNY Rookie of the Year.
A native New Yorker, Kate has been immersed in New York City real estate since childhood when she often assisted her father who was an architect and later a real estate developer. She grew up on the Upper East Side and Morningside Heights and attended the Brearley School for 13 years. In addition to Princeton University, Kate graduated from Dartmouth College and received a Masters degree from The London School of Economics.
Clients trust Kate due to her natural people skills as an empathetic listener, advocate, and fiduciary, and have come to depend on her discretion, integrity and expertise. Her clients range from first time buyers to notable leaders of finance and international business.
Kate and her husband live in a Carnegie Hill coop, which they recently renovated, with their young daughter who attends one of the Upper East Side private girls’ schools. Kate’s husband is a Principal at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and was appointed to the Landmarks Preservation Commission by the Mayor of the City of New York.
Outside of work, Kate is dedicated to her family, involved in her daughter’s school and the alumni associations of Dartmouth and Princeton, and is passionate about healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle.
Kate is also a co-founder of the Princeton Alumni in Real Estate team.
