More about Rashi Malhotra

A true metropolitan to her core, Rashi is a 15-year veteran of New York City. Having lived all across Manhattan, Queens, and now Brooklyn, she prides herself on her in-depth knowledge of numerous neighborhoods, and though she was born and raised in India, Rashi's heart is that of a true New Yorker. Beneath her affable and calm demeanor lies a highly-disciplined and dedicated agent who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

Rashi began her professional career with a decade of stellar performance in Operations and Advertising, but her deep love of fine dining culture began to steer her toward the realm of Michelin-starred hospitality in New York City. A Certified Sommelier with no other formal training in hospitality, she quickly impressed culinary legend Gunter Seeger, and spent several years working side-by-side with him at his critically-acclaimed Manhattan restaurant. In the following years, she would continue to develop her skills and leave her mark at other world-famous restaurants like Thomas Keller’s Per Se and Fredrik Berselius’s Aska. During seven years of working in high-stakes (and high-stress) environments, Rashi mastered the art of executing flawless service under extreme pressure and a perfect storm of challenging circumstances.

Rashi’s true strength is her innate ability to foresee her clients’ desires, often before they can recognize or articulate them themselves. Her time in fine dining imparted a deep understanding of how to provide a truly intimate and memorable luxury experience, and she specializes in applying the same principles to the home buying process. Rashi continues to be recognized by her old guests. She says "It’s always a humbling yet deeply satisfying moment when people recognize me years later, expressing their gratitude for the unforgettable dining experience I had orchestrated for them."

Rashi received a degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is fluent in both Hindi and English. She is dedicated to giving back to the community, having mentored students at Streetwise Partners in New York - a non-profit organization focused on transforming the lives of disadvantaged individuals by helping them realize their career potential.
