Kenneth "Ken" Filson

My real estate journey began a few years ago when my family and I purchased our home in Media. Knowing it would be one of the most important financial decisions of our lives, I took the process seriously—starting with finding the right agent. We worked with Tori Sheridan, and from our first offer through negotiations, we felt confident and well‑prepared. That confidence was validated at closing when the seller’s agent personally shared how impressed she was with our representation.

After closing, I naturally found myself helping family and friends navigate their own home‑buying journeys—answering questions about offers, negotiation strategies, zoning considerations, and projected construction or repair costs. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to pursue real estate as a career and join one of the most respected teams at Coldwell Banker, the Sheridan Mudrick Group.

Prior to real estate, I received a degree in Civil Engineering from Widener University  and built my career as a civil engineer, with over 10 years of experience and a strong understanding of local codes and regulations that directly apply to residential properties. 

I grew up in Glen Mills in a lively, all‑boys household and didn’t move far, settling just five minutes down the road in Media with my growing family. In the summer months, you can usually find us—often just me—body surfing on the beaches of Sea Isle.
