2189 E National Pike North Bethlehem, PA 15360

They call it SCENERY Hill for a reason! The VIEW (Scenery) out the back is something you can't put a price tag on...AND being in a historic village just off the historic National Road is pretty cool too! This charming 3 bed, 2 bath craftsman style home dates back to 1820! The character is nonstop with pressed metal ceilings & one piece crown molding in the living room (which is the first room you step into). You will appreciate the flawless tiled fireplace with gorgeous built-in cabinetry too and it pairs perfectly with the REAL & ORIGINAL hard wood floors ('log cabin'/square style pattern - which you don't see everyday). You also see that view out the back window when standing in the entry. Another great feature of the main floor is the primary bedroom with ensuite. The galley kitchen with dining area grants access to a walk-in pantry or side mud room. More character is found in the staircase hallway with the original exposed staircase & more square pattern floor :) The two story quarter-turn staircase with exposed railing in the upper hallway (w/ two windows) is the perfect touch that welcomes you to the two bedrooms & second full bathroom (cast iron bathtub). The wood floors continue upstairs & the larger bedroom has the second tiled fireplace! The lower level is home to the laundry & the mechanicals w/ high ceilings...plus there is an additional living room & bedroom w/ access to the lower yard space. Outside - you will appreciate the full length covered front porch (there is marble under the carpet - again, more character) - you'll have a front row seat to the annual National Road Festival/Pike Days! Off street parking & yard space are more bonuses! Bentworth Schools. Note regarding view: you can see the US Steel Tower in Pittsburgh on clear days and you get a glimpse of every firework display in the area! CHECK IT OUT!
