COLDWELL BANKER PREFERRED LAUNCHES VETERAN PROGRAM

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (Nov. 2, 2017) – David Krieger, president of Coldwell Banker Preferred, announced the company is launching a Veteran Success Program to assist veterans, active military and spouses transition to a career in real estate sales.

“As we embark on Veterans Day this month, it is a reminder that we should support those who have served our country and protected our right to freedom.  The Veteran Success Program is being launched to provide support for veterans or their spouses to begin a career in real estate sales,” noted Krieger.  “I am very proud of this initiative and hope that veterans will take advantage of the benefits, some of which are expenses typically not covered by the GI bill.”

The Veteran Success Program, which covers up to $1,500 in benefit costs, provides U.S. military veterans, their spouses or current military, with coaching, education, marketing and business materials for the first year as a real estate sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Preferred.  Veterans have the option of affiliating with one of the company’s ten offices located in the Greater Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania, northern Delaware and southern New Jersey.

Some of the real estate expenses that are covered in this program include:  education and classes; the real estate exam fee; initial real estate license fees; National Association of REALTORS® membership; multiple listing service (MLS) fees; legal assistance program costs; and, signs and marketing materials associated with buying and selling homes.

By affiliating with Coldwell Banker Preferred, sales associates will also have assistance with building their book of business and learning how to negotiate real estate contracts and paperwork.  “Each branch office vice president works directly with affiliated agents to help create business plans for personal success,” added Krieger. “We look forward to welcoming veterans and their spouses to a career in real estate and this program.”
